What is the best online trade broker to use?

I am a college student and i dont want to invest to much money but i really want to get into the stock market game. I heard that a few online brokers had minimum investment accounts of about 500 or so, and i dont want to do that much, what is a flexible reasonable e broker?

I just opened a basic account with ETrade with a balance of $200. Give them a call and they can explain the basic account differences to you. Just be aware that with low account balances, the trade commissions are rather high (I’m paying $9.99 per trade right now). Good luck!
